7 Months

Posted by admin

Although 7 months have passed, time seems to have gone by at an accelerated rate. It is hard to believe that we are almost entering October and soon Winter will be here.

There has been some additional changes at Mom’s house as her older car was replaced with a new one. She picked out a shiny new Red Cadillac a few weeks ago. At the same time, the house that dad had bought was sold in West University Place.

During this time I ran into some car problems and had to replace my car. I was a good time of a year to buy cars since they are trying to sell the 2008 models and the economy is stale.

Mom and I did brave hurricane IKE with no problems, other than loss of power. Luckily we both have power now and Houston is slowly moving back to normal. The traffic is a bit of a problem because there are many street lights down. The McDonalds by the house is still closed due to lack of power, but we are finding alternative sources of food!

Breena (Jack’s child) celebrated her 4th birthday two weeks ago and Mom is head to Denver to visit them next week.

Peanut and Stetson are doing well and enjoy the current weather we have. They have been busy protecting the backyard of Mom’s house and barking at the neighbor dogs.

I hope this update finds everyone healthy and happy.
